How many times have you ever said, “Boy is it a small world.” Or, when you come across a person that you feel you should know from somewhere or from someone else, you normally do know that person. Such was the case when I ran into Greg Andrews. Greg and I not only ran into one another at a TinCaps game this summer, but also remembered that we are related. We hadn’t seen each other for many, many years. We had that, “boy I feel like I should know you from somewhere, but can’t put it together” moment. After catching up, I found out that he was in a local modern rock band. Well one thing led to another and we put together a photo session for the band. What a great group of guys! It was fun shooting the guys and getting to know them a little better. But I have to ask, why is it that the drummer is always the craziest of the band? Lol! If you notice, yes that is the drummer walking around broken glass and hanging from poles in his bare feet! It was an awesome shoot. Hopefully you get a chance to listen to these guys rock out around town sometime. Or go check out there website for some of their songs, bios and schedule. www.outfromdarkness.com

What a great evening. What a great location. What a great family. The Sheltons a such a wonderful family. The kids weren't too sure about the whole photo session thing when I arrived. But they were only familiar to school pictures and boring studios. When I started telling them about having fun and not being bored out of their minds, →

Running into old friends and people you went to high school with is always alot of fun. However, when you get contacted by an old friend from high school to photograph his son's senior photos, it makes you stop and think..."dang it, I'm getting old!" But life goes on and kids grow up. It was great to not only re-connect →

What a great family the Holmes are! And how darn cute are these 'lil girls! I've known Tobie and Ryan since high school, and have taken their girls' photos a couple of times, but it's always a great time and the girls love to have their photos taken. The girls had a great time walking through the woods and checking →

Each and every time we photograph Addi, she gives a great challenge and keeps us on our toes! We've photographed her many times and each time she reminds me of why I love doing what I'm doing; to grab those few moments when she lets go a great laugh, blows a kiss to mom or sticks her little tongue out. →

What a great day we had with the Brinkers. The session was really for Charlie's 1st Birthday photos, but turned out to be so much more. Everybody was having a blast doing a great job as models for me, that we just kept taking more and more photos. It just goes to show you, yet again, you never know what →

It's always great to reconnect with old friends, especially when they have little ones that they want you to photograph. There are so many accessories out there, that sometimes it becomes more about "the stuff" and less about the little one. Even with her pretty dresses and headbands, little Anna was still so cute and adorable; her little personality and →

Oh little Lia, she isn't so little anymore. It's such a great experience to be able to not only watch, but also photograph the little ones from newborn; barely being able to open their little eyes to children running, playing and full of energy. Such is the case with Lia. We've been able to photograph her from early on to →

How much more cute can you get than a little cutie, in a flowered dress, with springtime flowers and butterflies! Lil Claire is so cute and is getting so big already. Her mom really wanted at least one photo of her with the butterflies, well Claire wasn't too sure about them, but we were able to get a few snapped →

Little Makenzie's newborn session could be easily called the "Angel Session." She was so peaceful and just looked like a little angel throughout the session. From outfit change to backdrop change, she just looked so peaceful and angelic. She was a little trooper throughout until the very end when she started getting hungry. Krystal and Landon, you guys sure have →
